10 ways to monetize your blog better

1.  make your ads become part of the content (blend them in.)

2.  use multiple monetization methods (don’t put all your eggs in 1 basket!)

3.  don’t over monetize (especially at first.)

4.  wait until you have a decent sized readership to monetize

5.  Get creative ( use links as well as banners, get creative with banner placement)

6.  create your own product

7.  build your email list

8.  survey your readers (be open with them about what they like, what bothers them, etc.)

9.  be transparent (use a disclaimer and be honest about the fact that you make money from your blog.  Your readers will respect you for it.)

10. don’t try to trick your readers (into clicking on ads, buying products, clicking links, etc.  Just be cool, real, and natural.)
